Hey i guys i would love the opportunity to share with you my kickstarter page for my movie Vesuvius

I will be shooting this film on a black magic cinema camera and a black magic production 4k.

There's a teaser for your viewing pleasure. I'm a special effects artist and this is the first film i wrote and will be directing and funding myself with some help from crowd funding . So any support you can give would be greatly

Firstly, the link threw a 404 for me, so I couldn't see the project page . I am curious, how does winning the camera work? Is it a raffle for certain tier backers, and if so, is there a consolation reward for those who don't win?

About our canon 7d tier it's pretty simple, it's the top tier and only one person can pledge on that tier. It's a $5000 pledge. Whoever pledges first on that tier gets the camera along with everything else offered in the lower tiers with extras.

Cool project. Would really recommend rallying all the people involved in the film and making the campaign a team effort. One person alone should be able to bring at least 20 backers over the span of 43 days. The average number of backers for a single person campaign is usually around 60-100. You guys have an entire crew! .

You are absolutely right I am definitely engaging the crew to tell every and anyone about our campaign.
I love that you broke the numbers down to me that's is what I'll base my projection for backers per person.

Yep - It's a team effort. Also, different members of your team can concentrate on marketing different reward tiers (lower reward tiers - supporters, upper - patrons). Be sure to keep me updated of your progress on this thread.
