A little help about finding the right chord

Hello to everyone. So I have this problem where I am writing a song and the verse ends on E and I want to transition it to A# which is the beginning of the chorus but I can't find the transition chord so that it sounds good and makes sense, that is, to go from E to A#. Thank you in advance.

One way to make the transition smoother is to use a pivot chord or a chromatic passing chord. For example, try slipping in a G# (the V chord of A#) between E and A#. It gives that nice "resolution" feeling and helps the shift make sense musically. Alternatively, you could experiment with Fm7 or even D#m7 for a jazzy vibe—it really depends on the mood of your song.
