Came across this new crowdfunding site, https://memeni.com/beta, but I think this one has some potential. They merged together social collaboration and crowdfunding and I think it's pretty promising.

You can give community input on project, join projects teams if you like the idea, and of course do the whole crowdfunding campaigns.

They are in private beta for another month or two... check it out. What do you think?

Good design, but there aren't any real details on the launch page. What does social collaboration mean exactly? I like the design.

Signed up. The pinterest theme is interesting. Seems like a combination of projects and project ideas. Was a little confused about that. How did you discover their website?
