Favorite Socks?

All my socks are getting cold, so I need new ones.
Mainly for walking and everyday wear.
I have special Castelli socks for cycling.
The ones I mostly have now are the Features.
They are nice, but a bit thick, as I have one pair of Swifts that I like.
So I look at them:
Swiftwick aspire two (can only be found in black)
Elite Ultra Light Quarter Features
Both cost $15.99 per pair, which seems a bit high.
Are there any others I should consider?
Thanks

Good merino wool socks are hard to beat. plus they're good for the environment too as they don't shed microplastics

Oh, sure, 16 bucks for a pair of socks seems expensive to me. Now there are a huge number of resources that provide high-quality socks and at a significantly low price compared to what you showed. Moreover, as I understand it, there are still restrictions in the choice of color. I'm just categorically against the monotony, for me it's terrible. It can be compared to Groundhog Day. You wake up every day, you wear the same black socks, you drink coffee in the same coffee shop. I understand that if you change your socks, your life will not change dramatically, but this is at least something that you do in order to change yourself.Maybe I'm fixated on it. I order socks at
https://www.funnypetsocks.com/. Yes, I wear socks with a picture of a cat, but it's cute. Moreover, I create the design myself.

My favourite socks are the ones that match colour
Normally I will find a pair that I like and buy like 10 years worth so they all match. I lean towards a merino blend these days,

If you're looking for alternatives, consider Darn Tough Socks for their durability and comfort, or Smartwool PhD Outdoor Light Crew for a lighter feel. Injinji Run
Lightweight Toesocks are great if you're open to toe socks, and Bombas Everyday Socks are another comfy option. They might be a bit pricey, but often worth it for the quality.
