When I choose a new chainsaw to work with( I have been working with wood for several years), I approach this task with full responsibility. For me, the chainsaw is the main tool in my work and in order not to make a mistake in the quality of the device being purchased, I turn to the guide for help https://mitersawjudge.com/best-band-saw-reviews-buying-guide/. I think this is good not only for those who have known and used chainsaws for a long time, but also for those people who are just starting to look at this subject. Do not hesitate to buy. This thing is always useful to you, even if it does not apply to your work, as in my case

There are a lot of options on the market so I understand why this might be difficult. I've been in the same position. Because I've lost my job due to the pandemic and I had so much free time at home, I decided to finally take on a project that I've been thinking about a lot for the past couple of months. I wanted to make a miniature house for my baby boy so he can have fun around it for the next couple of years. It was pretty hard, especially with getting the necessary equipment at first, like finding what's the best pole saw. I managed in the end and now the construction is almost complete, really proud of myself.

Where can I find some more feedback?

I've been using the Makita XCU03PT1, and it's been great for light tree trimming and cutting firewood. I chose this model because it uses two 18V batteries, which I already had from other Makita tools. The battery power is super convenient since it cuts down on maintenance and eliminates the need for fuel.

Plus, the performance has been solid for what I need. It's also nice that the batteries are compatible with other Makita tools, making it a versatile choice. If you're interested, I found some useful information about the best chainsaw brands here - https://www.boomandbucket.com/blog/best-chainsaw-brand.

For light firewood cutting and tree trimming, there's Husqvarna 120 Mark II or Stihl MS 170. Both are reliable, user-friendly, and fall within your budget. Hope this helps.
