INTJs are notoriously difficult to buy gifts, so I thought it might be interesting. For the most part, I agree with what he says about receiving gifts. We want practical and often boring things that we really need but haven't bothered to get. If you look closely, you can guess what we want. The only thing I completely disagree with is "maps". Maybe it's because my love language is words of affirmation, but I've always really liked postcards with some handwritten comments. As for how he approaches gift giving, what he says doesn't necessarily resonate with me as much, although when you get to a certain volume, some sort of organization is needed. I find that the best gifts I've given are those where I used my creative imagination to come up with an idea of something that the person didn't even think about before getting it, or maybe even paying very close attention when they weren't aware of it, and storing it in memory to get it later.

I think that if you want to give a perfect gift try to ask him, or if you want to make a surprise, then you should think about what he wants or likes more. In any case, a gift is always a sign of love and attention to a person. It doesn't always have to be expensive and beautiful. I love any gifts and I try to choose something suitable for everyone. I remember recently I was looking for a gift for my friend, I could not choose for a long time and remembered that he always laughed at these popular fancy. And what do you think, I decided to give him this gift basket. Only it wasn’t a basket with elegant bottle of wine, but a basket with beer and snacks. By the way the service where I bought this gifts baskets, I found it amazing!

Gifts are something relative to everybody. For someone, the best gift is a rare postcard, for others a real car. That's why there is no such thing as a perfect gift for everyone.
For example, I gifted to my father and mother at their wedding anniversary a Full Custom Couple Bobbleheads with their faces on them. And I never could think that such a small and cheap gift can bring so much joy.
