Blobbies' Campaign (any advice?)

Hi All,

I'm new at this forum and I just launched my first Kickstarter campaign to support the creation of a "Blobbies" mobile app. I'm hoping to learn from this campaign and be able to run a much larger campaign next year.

We have transforming plush animals as rewards and we send the Blobbies' 40-page children's book to $1 pledges.

So far things are "okay" but I'm not getting any visibility in Kickstarter (my pledges so far are family, friends, and customers, but basically none from the Kickstarter community. Not sure what to do to reach this community).

I built a mailing list from Facebook ads (800 people in a couple of months) by giving a free ebook in exchange, but this list doesn't seem to be very useful and probably just signed up for the ebook. I'm considering not giving a reward next time I run ads, hoping to only get people really interested in my product.

If you want to check out my Kickstarter here is the link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pers/blobbies

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

Jorge
