My kickstarter is sadly slowly failing, need feedback

Hey guys,
I'm an Italian university studend that was always passionate about videogames, in the last years i've worked on different projects with some friends and recently i've decided to creaty something on my own.
I've came up with a simple online 1v1 game that to be completed requires some servers that i need to rent, and because i'm a university student of course i'm broke.

Having used crowdfunding in the past i immediatly though about kickstarter, and after estimating how much is needed for the development i created a 1000 euroes campaign, thinking it would have been easy completing it, well after 6 days in i'm starting to think it will be impossible to achieve the goal, i'm currently sitting at about 100 euroes, so 10% of the required budget, and i have no idea on how to gain some visibility.

Looking at how many experts are around here and how many people are telling their successful story, do you guys have any advices? How can I improve the page of the project? Do you think i still have a chance to achieve the goal?

This is the page of the campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sp ... -prototype

Thanks in advance
Davide

Restarting a Kickstarter Campaign - Free Guide on What to Do

Hi Davide,

The game looks cool but I think you're right - if you keep doing what you're doing, you won't reach your goal.

So what to change? You need to show on the campaign page itself (rather than rely on the video) what the game can actually do.
- So this means gif animations, pictures of people playing the game and so on.

The game will be available on Steam, so why people should purchase it now. You need to explain the discounts on the page better.

Also heads up on the graphic with ??? on it, as it doesn't look that great as questions usually show that you haven't planned anything.

My suggestion would be to restart, gather an audience and get them to back you on Day 1. Get people playing the game, then show them your Kickstarter in order to get it.

I wrote a quick guide on collecting say 100k emails via:

- Hope this is useful!

Have heart you seem to have a good idea. Check out the articles in Google how to promote your campaign.

You should try to promote your project on Reddit (however don't start spamming people )

Really agree with Hyperstarter here. Sometimes if the project isn't "ready" to launch and it does, there are crickets for the campaign itself. It's definitely painful to experience when a project that you've been pouring your heart and soul into launches to silence like this.

Are you looking to re-launch your project? In order to prepare for NOT being met with crickets, I really encourage you to create a list of super-engaged backers even before you launch.

You can do this by creating a landing page, hooking it up to an email marketing management tool and letting them know that you'll soon be launching on crowdfunding.

Detailed step-by-step (including where to find your audience) is here: https://crushcrowdfunding.com/pre-launch-101-creating-a-list-of-super-engaged-backers-before-you-launch/
