Totally unexperienced with Kickstarter campaigns!

Hello guys!!

We just run our second try on a Kickstarter campaign which you can check here:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/437993173/acoustick-universal-smartphone-holder-for-acoustic

It's called "Acoustick" and it's a universal smartphone holder for any kind of acoustic guitar.
We searched on the market for anything similar, and we couldnt find any but one working with a sucker, which is very unestable, and another one you put on the guitar mast, which is very uncomfortable.

The thing is that we created a website, a facebook page and starting promoting via ads on facebook.

We contacted some bloggers and youtubers (from Spain) to help us with reviewing the product, but they all asking money for it... and our budget is very tight, 'cos we including in it the final mold, the first 1000 pieces, the packaging, personalized picks, and the shipping fees.

Anyone can give us some tips to promote the campaign, raise the backers and spread the word over other ways?.

Thanks very much in advance!

Try reaching out to through a site called bloggersrequired, not all bloggers want money, some want something to write about, so make it easy for them give them an outline and as much information as you can to enable them to easily write an article. You could look at giving them one of your producs or one for them to offer as prize to their readers, or perhaps look at the possibility of a coupon to use against any purchase they make through the campaign.

I didn't know of that site before. I'll add it to the list I've been working on - which might be useful in your case:

The link is: https://bloggersrequired.com/ although the site looks pretty rough. Perhaps HARO might be best.

yes it is old school but it seems trusted and reaches feeders to the bigger fish that perhaps wouldn't take the story directly.

Thanks for that link though I hadn't seen that one either!

You should run a giveaway on Gleam or Kingsumo! I made one where the prize was $20 through Paypal and it's been going well so far. What you do is make tasks and people get entries to the giveaway once they complete those tasks. For example retweeting a tweet. But be sure to use the tasks wisely! I used the free version of Gleam where I could only make one task for retweets and one task for posting onto twitter. So I would spread the word about the giveaway through the latter, where the person would post about the giveaway with relevant hashtags and retweet about the kickstarter campaign, again with the relevant hashtags. Just post the sweepstakes on different websites like reddit sweepstakes and reddit giveaways once you made it.

Great work! You should also reach out to backers who have supported the same campaign category as yours. Here's a blog post that you may find helpful. https://www.krowdster.co/blog/6-step-lo ... ckers.html
