Every campaign I launch, every single gosh darn time, I am just flooded with 10-20 emails per day of these scum bags offering their services. ENOUGH PEOPLE. I don’t do marketing and I don’t care to. I make great products and they just sell.

How can I block these message? I report each one to kickstarter, but they don’t seem to take any action.

Here is what I like to do:

1) report them to the CANSPAM body authority
2) look up as many spam blacklists as possible and add their address to it
3) file a police report for violation of spam laws (this only works in the US)
4) if you use gmail, you can block them but you have to receive at least one message from them first.

Overall this works quite well. Yes it is very time consuming, but at least you will be able to rest easy knowing you did the right thing.

PRO TIP: use a secret email for your day to day business activities. Only check your general inbox listed on your website once per week. This will help keep you sane during a live campaign trust me brother

I found a great solution to make it so that no one can email you your spam when you're doing a project. Never use a website, only use facebook and a throw away email address when you signup for your project. Works every time

Best you can do is flag as spam, report for spam to the canspam body, and file a police report if it continues.

Just try to keep an open mind and do your best to research the ones you are interested in to the best of your ability!

Beware. any agency that sends you an email is likely a scam. Real agencies don't work that way.

They are likely all bad. I always avoid.

Some of them do good work, but most of them do not do good work. Beware of that, and be wise against them.
