Hi all! I have some questions for you :)
- for opening a new project, should I be a business, or is it enough to be a private person?
- I need a copyright first publishing my project?
thx all!

- Business or Private is ok.
- You should register patent's if it's your own product ideally and copyright/trademarks as Kickstarter is an open space.

A patent is $10,000 to file. Are you crazy or something? Also, you have a year to file a patent after you show something to the public. It's first to invent not first to file.

Just terrible advice man... Telling someone to file a patent before they even launch a campaign.

My advice is to register as a private person and be sure to link your facebook profile.

copyright it first, and do it as a person. the community values people over businesses. heh. if you look around this forum im sure you'll notice that we don't take too kindly to businesses of any kind. we're a strange bunch here, but we're all in this together.
