Partnership between a rookie and a Kickstarter veteran

Hello folks!

I'm Cristi, I'm 31 years old, I live in Romania and I am a Full-Time teacher and a Part-Time Gaming Enthusiast, as I like to say.

Since I was a kid, I loved games of any kind, now, that I grew up, my passion only increased, not diminished. I like any game, but especially games during which I interact and socialize in a greater manner with my friends. For this reason, a special category of games, for me, is the card games, that's why for a while I'm seriously thinking of launching a campaign on Kickstarter, about a card game, but I'm facing a few problems...

First, I live in a country which is not on the Kickstarter list, so, I have to partner with someone who lives in such a country.
Second, and this is more important, I must admit that my knowledge of online marketing is quite limited and, from what I understood, reading all sorts of articles, this is probably the most important aspect when you prepare a campaign. I mean, to be sure of success, you must already have enough people willing to help you from the very first moment after launching the campaign.
Third, I am not really confident about how will be perceived a campaign started by someone who lives in a small poor country in Eastern Europe...

To solve all these problems, I decided to look for a partner who lives in a country on the list, that has experience in this field, or, even better, that have already accomplished a successful campaign, and who inspire confidence.

What do you think about this, would be a viable approach? May I ask for any advice on how can I overcome this situation?

I ask this because, to be honest, I've already contacted a couple of, let's say, veterans, in this field, but unfortunately for me, almost no one replied and those few who replied they did that just to send me a polite "No, thanks".

Thank you so much!

I think you wrote to me and I was one of the "no thanks" but to follow up, from your email - there isn't much you're offering the veteran like myself.

If you've alot of capital to invest or a viable product rather than an idea, then it would help alot but the factors you mention are a problem and wouldn't convince potential experienced Kickstarter's to join forces with you - there's a cost to them of time and money, plus a potential risk...it's just not worth it in the end.
