Have lost days because of Kickstarter and Facebook sharing?

What do you do if complications with Kickstarter and Facebook integration when you launch your project goes wrong. It is ultimately the glitch between these two platforms. What should be done to help the campaigner, if they lost time because of this issue. Shouldn't all this be easy already. Why would I have problems like this when both these platforms have been up for so long.

Whenever I clicked the share button through my kickstarter page it would share the very first crappy video that I had uploaded. Since that one I had uploaded 4 awesome versions of the video. None of those would come up. What do you think should happen? Should kickstarter help out? Should facebook make up for the loss?

Just wondering, because I think something should be done.

Hey Tren, Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding issues with your campaign. It can be quite disheartening when things go wrong and sometimes there is simply nothing you can do about it.

Facebook is under no obligation to make up for any loss due to social sharing issues, and unfortunately Kickstarter is the same. If you contact them and explain what has happened, Kickstarter may potentially lend you a helping hand (or there may be nothing they can do on their side).

I actually haven't heard of this happening before but there are inherent risks with using any website and no website is perfect. I'd definitely recommend reporting the issue to kickstarter.com either way so they can work to solve the issue for future creators that use the funding platform.

Please feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions about your Kickstarter campaign or crowdfunding in general and I will do what I can. All the best!

Kind Regards,

Jake
