I wonder very much the same thing. I back a lot of projects just for small amounts, so I see a lot of updates. And there are a lot of big and small kickstarters giving shout outs to other projects. I've often wondered how these happen. Did they reach out to each other and work out a deal? Or is it just spontaneous? Given that many backers back a number of projects, it seems like there would be some value in copromotion, but there's also the question of where is time best spent. If one has to negotiate each copromotion separately, that could be time consuming to do multiple of those.
