Kickstarter Staff Pick

So anybody have any awesome tips on becoming a Kickstarter staff pick? I'm re-entering the crowdfunding world with In a Galaxy Far, Far Awry book 3 and need reminders of strategies.
Doesn't hurt to send Kickstarter a direct email - just getting your project in front of their face gives you a better chance of them noticing it!
