How to improve KS performance?

Hey all! So I'm quite stumped and could use some serious advice.
Back in 2013, I launched the first Kickstarter for my webcomic here https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/na ... full-color
It didn't so do great. But I figured out why!
1] I asked for a lot of money
2] I launched it at a really bad time and
3] My rewards might've been too many to count
I launched a second one in the spring, away from the holidays and with a much much smaller goal. We funded!

Now we launched our new one on the 8th and... it feels even trickier than the last two.

It's been really tough to get anyone to notice this. We spent weeks ahead of time promoting it, our webcomic audience is bigger, we made a much punchier, shorter video that gets to the point faster, we're promoting it once a day on social networks [twice a day on twitter] I promoted on the last two Kickstarters, on our main site [http://lighterthanheir.com] and this book in my opinion is better than the last. So I'm not sure how the heck we blew our load so early. I know we still have 16 days left, but man, what happened? Am I just greedy? I think maybe I screwed up somewhere. Kicktraq's already predicting we're going to fail and that's a huge bummer.
I contacted all of these guys, and no response yet http://www.crowdcrux.com/20-bloggers-an ... mpaign-to/ and my social network posts don't seem to get much traction.
Sorry if I'm whining. It just baffles me! It seemed like I was doing everything correctly THIS time.
Any advice? It would stink to fail AGAIN. Thanks.
