Funding Advice Needed!

I am fairly new to crowdfunding. I read a lot of articles and followed as much of the advice as I could afford to, but so far my campaign is nearly a week old and we only have one backer. This is my second run at fundraising. Our first was on a different site that apparently went under.

Here is what I have done:
emailed a massive list of potential backers
launched a fairly aggressive social media campaign
sent out press releases
updated our website home page to reflect the fundraising
posted on free spaces (dozens of them)
attempted to recruit friends and family
attempted to recruit the authors we currently have in our list (who would benefit from a successful campaign)

You can see the campaign link in my signature. This isn't even about me getting the money for me. It's about getting the money so I can pay the authors we publish. They deserve it.

Any advice (that doesn't require us to spend more money)?

Hi, Probably my question would be - what happened after you did the above?

It seems you did all the right things, but then you need to be around to react to the replies and what happens next...

I think once you get picked up by a popular person with contacts or a major site, then the momentum should be there.

You might want to look at our "trust" article:

- Hope it all works out
