Best time of the month to launch a campaign?

Hi y'all,
We're ModernCoalition, a startup app developer. We're building a game designed to mimic the US political landscape by letting users choose stances on issues and then form alliances to get their opinions across.
We're new to Kickstarter and we're wondering when the best time of the month is to launch a campaign. Are major holidays good or bad, and is the first of the month a good time to start or overused?

You want the campaign to end around the first of the month, that is when many receive their money. Don't forget Bernie! #BernBabyBern

I used to own a video store. Timing is very important as you can chart how much business you will have by what is happening at the time and what else might pull a family's money. End eBay auctions on Sunday evenings, too. People are home and at the computers so maybe evening of the first Sunday of the month as long as it is not the 1st day of the month because that cuts out the 3rd. In that case move to the second Sunday.

Best time is the 16th of the month, preferably a Tuesday. Early in the month is plagued by huge charges like rent and mortgage payments. People also get paid the 15th. Mondays are dreary and Tuesdays are optimal!

This is definitly not a kids " i expect 300$ on xmas app". as you stated it should be placed wiseful not to run dry over the long run. as you are an entrp you cant support it much commercially.. what free channels do you have in mind? this app needs controversion for sure. it's not enough to wait till some election. any app needs to placed at around at time it was created not to look fashioned. maybe some scope on what a democracy needs from their people would be nice. do you have a beta apk?
