problems with delivery on Kickstarter

I've just backed my first project on Kickstarter, but I just got this itchy feeling there's gonna be problems with the delivery, especially cause I'm in Europe. Anyone having bad experiences with deliveries?
It's not that I have problems with small delays, but I've heard some pretty bad stories..
