My First Kickstarter for my Comic

Hey guys,

I'm writing a Weird West/Steampunk graphic novel. It's called The Legend of Everett Forge. Check out the campaign, I'd love to get some feedback and tips on making this successful. I read as much as I could ahead of time. I tried to get as much backing as I could... I worked my way up to 168 likes on Facebook. I post on reddit regularly. I network at comic conventions. I'm just hoping it's enough.

Thanks in advance!

I was going to reply to this post with "I really love the campaign. Great work!" as all your previous posts said this...hmm, wondering if you're trying to get your post total up?

Strange why this post is so long and your other posts say the same stuff...

That said the graphics look great in your comic but I think it'll be a struggle for you to raise funds with only 4 backers at the start.

I'd say a bit more clarity would be good. You have a cool video, but really, you should make it clear right off the bat that what you're offering is a comic... that might seem obvious to you, but not immediately clear to the visitor. Also, it just one comic, is it a series, etc?

Also, you have to do a lot of marketing yourself. Only about 33% of the funding you get will likely come from Kickstarter itself (at least that's how it is with IGG) so you really need to market this bad boy yourself.

Good luck,

I doubt that your project will be funded complete as there is more than 80% yet to be funded.
By the way, I really loved your project.
All the Best!
