Hey, everyone!

I'm running a Kickstarter campaign for my comic, SOUL MEN. In short, it's basically BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE meets GHOSTBUSTERS meets SUPERNATURAL, it sounds crazy I know... So crazy it just might work...

This is the first true comic I am self-publishing, I also have a webcomic at cunexttues.com with the same artist where we have been building an audience for over a year.

We really are passionate about SOUL MEN on Kickstarter and were wondering if we would be able to get any feedback on our project page and video? Looks like you guys are doing well so far!

Best to start being active on twitter, facebook etc first before even starting a campaign.

From watching friends run comic book kickstarters: If you haven't networked with other comic book creators you need to do it. Especially those who have a similar audience because most are willing to share your project and help another creator reach fans.

Having a social media presence with followers well in advance of your campaign is definitely good advice if you don't have automatic name recognition.

You can use Krowdster to create and grow your network of supporters. With the Crowd Builder feature you can get a list of proven backers who have supported campaigns in the comics category.

Yea, it looks like it's doing quite well. Interesting choice to do nearly your entire sales page as a comic book. I wonder if it would've done better or worse with more "normal" sales copy. In any case, congrats on your success thus far.
