Hello,

It looks like you have a great product, as well as a nice team to back it up. The slow start you've encountered may be due to the high price, but as you wisely explain, that's the true price of the product you hope to produce.

So at $1,300/$1,500 for a base-level pledge, you need to engender confidence in someone who is browsing your page. I can think of two things that might help:

1. The 'As Seen On' graphics don't appear to be clickable. Can you enable some links to let potential backers see what these news sites think of your product? These outside voices will assure potential backers that this is a solid product worth their investment.

2. This may seem minor, but I noticed some issues with grammar, spacing, etc. This shouldn't have any bearing on your technical skills, but these things may turn off a casual browser. You might find someone to do freelance proofreading through your local library or newspaper.

Best of luck!

What kind of feedback have you gotten from the 3d printing community so far?

First off I think you have a cool product!

One thing that I noticed was there was a lot of just plain text in your campaign. With the constant bombardment of information from fb on our phones and computers to constantly getting text messages, I feel our attention span is decreasing. I find this especially true with online interactions.

I think that the text you have typed out has plenty of value and is mostly necessary. As a potential backer would be much more inclined to support you, if you had more summarized "infographs" I have used this site http://www.easel.ly/ and have no affiliation just a quality service.

Good luck! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help!

Best,
Tyler

For such an exciting product the tone of the campaign is oddly subdued. I would really have to be in the market for a 3D printer to read all that text.
I also agree with Tyler - the base price is high - I would imagine its beyond the budget of anyone except 3D professionals.
Also you are competing with TIKO which is selling for $179?

Hope this helps.

Yes you're right about text length and also about base price, we have noticed that many people compared us with Tiko 3D, besides is like compare a Ford fiesta with a Lamborghini was our mistake think that people will note the difference, any person that already know something about 3d printing can note that Tiko is just a big Bluff, but they did something great that us didn't, reach backers, the same that will complain in a few months when they realize that is not possible to deliver a 3D printer for 179 even a non working one.
Anyway we are focusing now in an spin of Gala, we are planning to release also at kickstarter just Gala's brain, in fact a piece of hardware that can connect to any USB printer and turn it in a Smart 3D printer, WiFi enabled, which can be controlled from a Phone or tablet including amazing features like Camera to take pictures and timelapses, TouchScreen, Direct access to 3d models libraries and so on. In this cas we can offer this box from 99 to 300 (Could include camera and touchscreen as optional), so at this way people will know us backing us in an unique and really edge shifting project (And for less money!).

What do you think about it?

Thanks!
