I am working on launching a project that involves becoming licensed with a particular brand/property.
I have not yet asked the "property" if I could mention them in the project. I will. And if they say no, then I will not mention them. So I am not seeking advice regarding that aspect. I wouldn't dare do that without consent.

But my question is- have you seen any Kickstarter project that was seeking funding for a property license? If so, then would you mind sharing it with me on this thread?

It sounds like it might be difficult - KS wants people to create innovative products so offering something that already exists on the market may not work.
What are your awards going to be? They would have to be cheaper than the existing product otherwise your backers will just buy them online.
Can you tell us more about what the idea is?
