Importance of Working with Others

Hey there guys, my name is Sean Weech and I'm creating an Indie Game entirely designed and produced by myself, it's called Neo-Tanks and it can be found here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/10 ... /neo-tanks . So far my project has 12 days to go (as of this writing) and is almost 25% funded. As many of you have probably experience before, my project is currently in a slump... meaning that it got almost all of this funding on the first two days and hasn't gotten nearly any new backers over the past few weeks. (Most of what I have read on these forums however say that this is very typical)
However I have been contacted by multiple other campaigns saying that they would like to work with me in a partnership! What does this mean exactly? Well, other small Kickstarter campaigns have taken it upon themselves to contact me and ask if I would like to promote their project as well as them promote my own. And from experience I can tell you this is EXACTLY what you should do! I already posted an update with a link to the other company's site and an explanation of what they are doing, Since then they have been very thankful and have decided to make my game a part of their rewards system! This was a great way for both groups to get some promotion and benefit.
Now, I have taken it upon myself to begin messaging other projects and see if they would be interested! This is an excellent strategy in helping to get your project out there among the endless sea that seems to be projects that have gotten only partial funding. So, I was just wondering if anyone else has done the same, or experienced something similar?
