Creating a project in your "OWN NAME" - still a company??

Hey there,

I would like to start a technology project and the project page is finished already.

Sadly i have an issue here:
The rule says that "you can create a project in YOUR OWN NAME or in a companies name.

But as you need an "Amazon Payments business account", this means that you have to be a company anyway isnt it?
So in your own name just means that the headline shows your name instead of your companies name, right?

Best

Hey Renato,

If I remember right you don't specifically need an Amazon Payments business account, rather just an Amazon payments account. Nowhere on your campaign page will there be any display of your amazon account name/info, if differences in the project name / creator name / business name are the concern.

Depending on when you are planning to launch and how concerned you are about this, it might be worth your time to go to your bank and open a business account or personal project account.

That's what we did. Let me know if that does not answer your question. Good luck!

So the person who has the amazon payments can be different then the creator? Only the creators name will be on the kickstarter? Is that right?
