Stretch Goals and Pledging more than one time

I need some advice and help on stretch goals.

As many of you deal with, I am confronted with the huge upfront costs of manufacturing. I need to create the molds and place minimum orders. Thus the incredible beauty of Kickstarter that is a place to launch our dreams

So I am thinking through how to do my reward levels. I am launching a children's toy that is made up of collectible figurines. I am thinking of launching 6 figures at first that require my minimum goal to be set at 40,000.

If I reach the 40K goal, I would like to be able to introduce another set of 3 figures if I reach 60 K and then one more set of 3 figures at 80K.

How can I best do this? Can someone pledge twice? So if they pledge early on and are one of the backers to help me reach 40K and then they see new figures introduced and want to buy them, is this possible or how would this work best?
thanks!

You could do what are called "add-ons" where people can increase their pledge if they want a particular add-on. They can't pledge twice to the same campaign.

I think add-ons are probably your best bet. You don't want to shut out your early backers from receiving new rewards from your stretch goals.
