I've heard that on indiegogo you keep whatever money you make, even if you don't reach your goal. Not sure any other details!

So on Indiegogo, I would imagine you're obligated to produce something even if you don't make your goal. This would prevent people from using it to crowdfund, say, a high-tech flyswatter for $1 million, only getting $400, and making off with the money. Am I right?

I work for a crowdfunding platform that enables you to raise funds through crowdfunded custom apparel. It is a similar set-up to how kickstarter works, but instead of just asking for funds and offering perks, you sell items and earn profit from each item sold. There are no costs or risks involved.

If the campaign fails then no one is charged for their order and there are no upfront costs involved for the campaigners so it's cost free and risk free like Kickstarter.

We are interested in assisting kickstarter and indiegogo campaigners with campaign perks which is why I'm interested in this forum; but our campaigners also are able to raise funds through a crowdfunded campaign on our site too! :)

We have everyone from individuals to organizations use our platform for fundraising.

If you have any questions about how it works please let me know!

"I would imagine you're obligated to produce something even if you don't make your goal. "

That is correct if you are under flexible funding.
