Does anyone have any thoughts on what the best day to launch a Kickstarter project is?

If your traffic source is Media coverage - the norm seems to be Tuesday or Wednesday.

I have no clue yet about other traffic sources.

Indiegogo suggests Monday or Tuesday, so that the campaign can gain momentum over the week.

Also consider your end date. As a lot of funding comes in the last couple of days, it might be beneficial to make sure you end on a week day.

I wish I was ready to launch, I would pick Monday! I have my product and video and prize structure but I'm lost at pre promotion of the project.

You're somewhat lucky you're not ready yet. This is the worst time to launch. A 30 day campaign started today would not end on a regular weekday.

Great to hear , i will try to structure it so it ends on week day. Also i have also heard somewhere that having all your backers ready and blogs and press release ready, so you can hit the button and go live on a monday morning.

Not sure why monday, as i would of thought it was the worst day , since most people and focusing on getting back to work, any thoughts?
