I know someone who did, so I"ll ask them to comment on this thread. Yea, I agree. They seem to have a good fanbase and good alexa ranking.

GadgetFlow gives you top notch treatment! The story that we were given was epic and gave us instant credibility to other journalists! That's not to say anyone else wrote a story, nor is that to say we got more pledges actually neither happened. We watched the traffic go up slightly on the landing page for our campaign, the video views did not increase, and we did not get any noticeable bump in likes or follows on Facebook or Twitter.

Lessons learned: It improves SEO and from outsiders looking it builds a brand over time...as the article will always be there.

We got the mid package for our kickstarter project I'd definitely recommend them as they’ve helped us significantly on getting funded with our project.

We're going to try the mid package now. Will post results when I have them.
