Successful KS -but backers' pledges did not work

HI,
My Kickstarter was successful yesterday!

BUT about 8 of my backers had their funds not go through. This is really odd, because they do have good credit, etc. etc.
2 questions:
1) Is Kickstarter or Amazon having problems today? Who would I talk with?
2) Is my project still considered successful? Or will they say that it failed?

1) Usually it has something to do with the backer needing to update their credit card (sometimes their credit card expires and they forget to update it on amazon). Have you been in direct contact with them?
2) It's my understanding that they will say it is successful, but I'm not 100% sure.

had never heard of this before. was it through Paypal that didn't work? Paypal sucks sometimes.

Yes, but it is odd that about half of mine did not go through. I hope they don't kick it back!!

Deena, congratulations! I hope it all gets worked out so you get the funds you worked hard to raise. Is PayPal actually on option on Kickstarter? I thought it was all through Amazon.

It would be a shame if you were back to square one despite reaching your goal. Hopefully they work it out!
