What is Backers Hub? The landing page doesn't give much info. I am not fond of registering for things just to find out how they work.

We just tried them out and it wasn't a great experience. For the $297 package, we got two Facebook posts and a newsletter mention. There were typos in all three communications, including a Facebook post in which they actually posted our name incorrectly. I've been reaching out to Dwight (who was a really nice guy) to discuss for the last week and a half and no response at all. Really disappointing. I can also tell you that we did not receive a single backer from them. Total waste of money for us.

Backers hub is Awesome!!!,
We just used backershub on our project ending 8/13/2014 to help get us funded and there is no question, there was a significant impact from using backershub.com in promoting our campaign. There was a huge spike in the chart immediately upon receiving their help.. Everything they do is exceptional and highly professional. Backershub.com has over 7k previous kickstarter backers that are motivated to help new projects as well as make new orders on products after successfully funded campaigns. I have used
http://newsletter.backershub.com/ service 3 times now, and in each instance received well over a 2000% return on my package. For us it isn't really about the facebook post, but the Email to the backers that gets the noticeable response. We have used the 297$ package twice and the 497$ once. There is a significant impact in being the only product featured as in the 497$ package but we received comparable returns percentage wise for each package. I personally recommend backershub.com as the most influencial promotion tool for kickstarter.(unless you can get in a major newspaper or something). I have used them all (except news papers). Not only is Dwight super cool, his service reaches proven time and again kickstarter backers that are trend setters with money to burn. .Of course your product should be desirable in order to get the maximum results. Our most recent Kickstarter is titled. SHEATH 2.0 and our website is sheathunderwear.com Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions at

I first heard Dwight Peters of
http://backershub.com/On the hugely popular podcast show by Pat Flynn
http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/broke ... ht-peters/I was inspired by his story and so I reached out to him and he was gracious enough to give me some FREE crowdfunding advice. We’ve communicated back and forth several times. Because he took the time to answer my questions, whenever I get an email from Backer’s Hub regarding a project,
I check it out and I’ve donated thus far to one project referred by Backer’s hub and it was FUNDED!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/st ... collectionI’m sorry that Dwight hasn’t gotten back to kickstarted2014 because he seems to run a very reputable company.
Re: Mad Monster, I agree I don’t like having to register or sign up, but I took a chance and did it with backer’s hub and that’s how I got Dwight’s email address.
My thoughts on Backer’s hub or any promotion site like this great one right here, is that if you have a marketing budget it can’t hurt to test the waters.
But ultimately, the success of any crowdfunding campaign is linked to the amount of work you put into marketing your campaign before, during and after you launch. So, the more hands on deck helping with marketing, the better.
Best,
FBK

From what I've read here it seems as though I shouldn't go with BackersHub!? I will give them credit...their initial marketing push is pretty strong. Thanks for the insight everyone.

Just received an email from them and seriopusly considered it. Looked real good until I read the feedback here, so now I'm leaning towards passing on it.
