Question About Amazon Payments and Kickstarter

Howdy,
I'm in the middle of of the Amazon Payments approval process and faxed them everything they needed. They say that, to use Kickstarter, I will need to upgrade the account to premium after the verification process. Will I be able to launch the Kickstarter campaign after verification but before the upgrade to premium? Thanks. Urgent question by the way.

"To receive payments on a marketplace that supports Amazon Payments (including Kickstarter), you will need to register an Amazon Payments business account. All the technical work has already been done by the marketplace owner- all you need to do is register for a business account.
Typically there are two ways to register an Amazon Payments account to receive funds on a marketplace that supports Amazon Payments- through the marketplace or directly through Amazon Payments."

OK. Amazon's putting me through the mill right now. I might have to find another crowdfunding platform that is all or nothing. Also, Kickstarter really needs to clarify statements like "and log in to Amazon Payments with the exact same email address and password you used when you registered your project to receive funds (important!)." What the hell does that mean? I need the same email address as the Kickstarter account? If that's the case, then forget it.

OK. This time they fast tracked it for real and got everything approved, and we upgraded it to a business account. I still scared, though. Does every backer of the Kickstarter project have to set up an Amazon Payments account and spend all day every day faxing them documents and talking on the phone with them before they can back a project? If so, screw Kickstarter. OMFG.
