Slow but steady, fast but furious?

Are there any studies on trends for Kickstarters? Some fund right away, others are slow but steady. I know that most of the ones that fail have no backers at all (which shows people did not prepare or did not put their own effort into it....)

But my campaign is slow and steady, and i wondered if others had had the same experience?

Hmm... I don't think there are any formal studies on this. I've recommended a few ways to gauge your progress in my article about researching similar Kickstarters? http://www.crowdcrux.com/how-to-researc ... campaigns/

I do definitely see slow and steady campaigns and also the ones that fund quickly in the beginning days and ending days.
