Anyone Use Kickstartmyads?

When I launched my kickstarter I was approached by dozens of potential promoters. None of these really seemed all that good but kickstartmyads.com is one I can't find anything bad about..or really good for that matter. So I was wondering if anyone has maybe had any experience with them?

No haven't heard any reviews of them, but don't get how they differ from just buying your own facebook ads?

No bad reviews

Yes, I am curious about the project. That was quite a canned response. lol I got approached by quite a few promoters too. Most of them, I balked at the price for the service. It did seem like something a boosted post could do. But how knows.

What I'd really like to see is a company offer a results based pricing plan. I pay you when we are successful... or at least a base price to get them going, with balance due when successful.

I agree, CompostChopper - it would be nice if folks would do a "we'll work like dogs to get you funded, then you can pay us" model. But from what I understand, statistically, most campaigns are failures. And it's not due to the lack of facebook ads.

(I'm pretty stinkin' new to this, so I might be wrong, but that's what I've seen.)

Assuming I'm right, that would mean that a company would have to somehow be guaranteed that you would work your tail off and do all the things you're supposed to do to be successful before going in on the deal with you. If you had them work to put the ads out and you neglected to call, email, tweet, pin, share... your own stuff, then they would be out the time AND the money.

With their current business model, they know:

1. They'll get paid
2. If you do pay them, you're more likely to do your part, thus making you both look awesome.

I doubt they'll be changing their business model anytime soon.

I do some people offer results-based incentives, but it's usually like...they will get paid a competitive rate and then if they do extra good, they will get bonuses.

Good cross post. Great points over there. There are just so many iffy companies out there, it is hard to determine if any are legit. And Mathfour has a good point about a company bustin their hump, but then a creator of the project not doing the same, but expecting results.

So, I guess the point here is, if you want good marketing, you have to do it yourself by spending years amassing followers and then calling upon them when the time is right. That is truly targeted marketing. Some services may be up to snuff, but vetting them is difficult at best. who to trust?

Lots to learn... unfortunately, I have decided to do it o the job.

No but we've been approached by a few. Any of them good (maybe a list of the good companies) ?
