Thanks for this, The part when you say that sending out a letter is like sending your resume out to a company helps a lot. Maybe after this I'll get an answer from a blog.

Thanks for the double whammy of helpful content. The article on the bottom was a great follow up, now to be creative and put my thinking cap on for interesting story angles.

For photographers, it seems blogs are happy to cover finished projects, but I'm having a hard time finding any that write about works in progress. Any ideas about how to overcome that hurdle?
