I did this before with my first KS http://www.kickstarterforum.org/post2172.html#p2172. When my current campaign ends I will do something similar.

For Zambies the Card Game Campaign
- Video stats - 400 views w/ 4 offsite
- traffic stats I got pledges from all over, only 8 out of 19 were from kickstarter.
- advertising stats - about half of my pledges came from links I sent out or posted, with no paid adverts.
- fb/twitter - I set up a facebook page and twitter account, which help in keeping people up to date with graphics without flooding the updates on your kickstarter.

Did anyone try to pay for PR company to promote the campaign? How did that worked out, does it worthwhile the money most of the time?

Do most campaigns usually peak in terms of funding at the beginning,
or the end, or is there no real pattern?

@Cara21 - It varies. Some campaigns experience linear growth. Others have the Kickstarter slump model (High interest in beginning and end). Would recommend installing the KickTraq chrome app and browsing Kicktraq analytics for insights into specific campaigns: http://www.kicktraq.com/

@Saman - Depends on the type of services they offer and the price point. As a first step, would recommend searching google for any reviews of the company.

I reached my goal in just a few days, but I am still trying to keep it going and see how far it can be taken.

- advertising stats - Have not advertised
- fb/twitter engagement, etc. - Its just starting to gain traction.

Any help i can give, I am more than happy to. But to be honest, I'm pretty blown away by my projects quick success.

I tried to get an answer for this one for a bit. From what I gather for a fashion kickstarter you need thousands of views for a generic successful project. If you're more unique, then it get harder. To alleviate this you need a following.
