With a week left, how can we make sure we hit our goal?

Our Kickstarter campaign goal is $18,000 and we have about $14,500 funded through our backers so far. As a first time user on Kickstarter I'd like to know if anyone has some ideas that could help us generate some more attention to our project that would help us reach our goal within the last week of our deadline.

The last week is a great time for your campaign - people like backing projects just before the opportunity passes them. Create a sense of urgency on your social media outlets with language like "Last chance", "almost finished" or "final call". Something that makes people rush to seize an opportunity.
Don't stop at your own social media though. Reach out to bloggers or other media people (especially those who have run a report on your campaign already) to ask them to do a "reminder" story on it. Also use Kickstarter to email your existing backers and encourage them to increase their pledge in the final week. Tell them about any limited-edition rewards that you have remaining to tempt them. Don't be afraid to ask them to tweet/Facebook about it either.
