If you had $10K marketing budget, how would you spend it?

We've started our campaign a week ago. We're about 30% with 35 days left and not sure how to use our marketing budget. So far Facebook wasn't very effective.
How would you spend it wisely?

Facebook ads can be very effective but they must be highly targeted to the right audience.
Here's an article about creating successful facebook ads https://www.krowdster.co/blog/how-to-cr ... paign.html

Thanks Vanessa I'll take a look

I don't know what your campaign is I think unless you are really up there with the changes going on in FB, it is a lot harder to get the value from it than before, but it's our preferred route, couple it with an interactive bot perhaps,..
Certainly in my limited experience Google ads are less effective.

But saying all that I'd be inclined for you to spend it on our campaign

hi Vanessa,

How relevant now is the use of the krowdster directory aspect of the article in light of the GDPR requirements of people undoubtedly on that list?

Hi RFIDSecur, GDPR is a regulation for EU countries and the Backer Directory doesn't have to comply to it, however Krowdster has ensured that using the backer directory doesn't violate any privacy policies.

Thanks, Surely it would though for any backers that are from the EU, of which undoubtedly there would be?

Yeah that's not quite correct, it does violate privacy even if you're based in the US:

"The US stands to be affected directly by the GDPR because the new privacy model applies to any enterprise in the world that targets the European market in offering goods or services or profiles European citizens, and as a result, must process the personal data drawn from those member states. "

Yeah, I'm sure Krowdster legal department has taken care of that.

I would agree with the above post about using Facebook effectively. I would also have spent roughly 3 months before the launch spending that £10,000 on building an email list and awareness, like so...

I use clients budgets to create ads, that sends traffic to a dedicated landing page, one that is designed to collect emails with the promise of a super early bird discount or small deposit.

This way you can get a little funding early and build up an email list, then you are in a much better position to market your campaign when it is launched.

@vanessa - not sure that covers your due diligence but if you say so..

@Samit_Patel - interesting taking a deposit, how does the mechanics of that work? what are the guarantees on the funds you hold as it is outside of the the KS arena, what sort of uptake do you see on that given the money could just disappear?
