How to get a live campaign boost?

What are some good ways to revive a campaign that has slowed? We've tried public relations, but from what I've read there are not any good agencies for that - they all seem to be scams. Will posting about our campaign on here do much? Anyone have any luck with press releases?

Press Releases can work, you just need to target them to the right places or add it to a press kit along with images and include the link in an email/message.
