Any advice about Indiegogo-Indemand?

It looks like basically every single project starts on kickstarter, and then moves over to indiegogo indemand and sits there until they ship rewards. What is everyone's thoughts on doing this? Is there any downside to this?

Always do it. There is never a reason not to do it unless you are capable of setting up pre-orders on your own website.

There is no downside, and you should always do Indemand after your normal campaign ends.
