Hi, I am planning my first kickstarter video and am wondering whether it's a good idea to hint at exceeding our target or whether this would put people off? When discussing where the money will be going, I was going to say something along the lines of 'on a small scale we'd like to do this etc etc but we want to go big with this etc etc. The more we raise, the more we will be able to achieve'

We had the same idea but steered away from doing this. Your minimum funding goal is usually different than your target funding goal. However, I would not hint at anything that states you expect to exceed.

Yes, and I think it goes without saying. Who would not want to exceed their goal?
