Forum changes are coming

Hey Y'all,

Some changes will be coming towards the second quarter of this year. Things I'm considering

- Making this a private premium community.
- Making access to this forum as part of a larger weekly course with live content and group consultations.
- Banning all service providers.

This is based on the feedback I've gotten since starting this forum a while back. I want to provide a higher level of service here and have more dedicated support for the CrowdCrux community.

CrowdfundingForum will still be free likely and public.

Sal

Hey Sal, we appreciate the update!

In regards to making it a premium 'more exclusive' forum, I am not opposed to the idea. The people who wouldn't want to pay to join are simply the people that make no real contributions here anyways (meaning the people who sign up, make 3 (one or two word) comments, then post their campaign and never come back online).

While I am a service provider, I would like to stay a part of the community and would be more then happy to rejoin with a personal account :)

Thank you Sal, all the best!

Hey Sal,

I think it would be a shame to make this forum paid. Although I think I would pay a monthly fee, but the majority of my comments are about helping people's campaigns...so in a way, I'm paying to help others ;/

I guess you're seeing new members join > post their project (after making a couple of short posts to be able to post their link) and then they don't come back.
- Wouldn't it be better to focus on those guys rather than removing those who are already established.

I'm also confused what this site would be as you've already a crowdfunding forum, but isn't this site for KS only and more popular?
