Yea, this is also a growing problem. I hope we see more creators being upfront with backers if they think that their project will be behind schedule or that they won't be able to deliver on it. It's kind of an iffy situation. I think that there should be more education so that backers realize the risks that are involved.

The ones I back, I mostly select the option for NO PERK, no thanks.

But I would be bloody mad (OK maybe not bloody), but upset if my product was not delivered on time.

However, it does state on must sites that you - back at your own risk.

I have been very lucky with the campaigns that I have backed. The only problem that I have had is delayed delivery of the product but that is to be expected in certain situations. Some projects grow a lot bigger than expected and can cause this.

Yea, myIDKey was one I backed (and many others as well). They went silent for many month after they ran out of money. They've apparently be purchased by Sonavation and have said they are going to honor delivery to the original KickStarter backers. I'm still waiting ...

Yes... of the 8 projects that I have backed that were successful, I still have yet to receive rewards from 2 of them.

I'm waiting on rewards for one and they are a little behind schedule, but I have faith that they'll come through. My cousin is work on their project.

Just today I realized one of them I did get rewards for, the reward wasn't quite as promised. My comic was supposed to be signed and numbered and it doesn't appear that it was.
