Okay, so you had to click over here to find out what I had left out of the topic. Now, I'm asking myself why I'm promoting some other creator's campaign (effectively) and nobody's reciprocating by promoting my wife's wonderful campaign (heh heh). Well, mainly because I'm fascinated by Lightman, the World's Most Versatile Pocket Light. My wife has backed it early (and whatever my better half backs, I back---I'm a smart dude; gotta be if I want peace and love--especially the love part).
No, it seems like the creator is simply a down-to-earth folksy kind of guy who found an everyday problem and applied a not-so-everyday solution. he simply built a better mousetrap. No hype, no fanfare. His product is selling itself. I monitor Kicktaq.com for emerging trends in terms of how sizzling a Kickstarter project is. Then I winnow down the list of appealing projects and then---in collaboration with the missus---we spend her hard-earned dollars on worthy projects. That's our basic formula. So, we are getting two flashlights. Get this, they can shine 43 meters. Whoa, is that legal? Okay, at least it's not a green laser been and nobody can shine it into a cockpit (unless the pilot decides to do a really low simulated bombing run, in which case are off).
Anyways, judge for yourself. Here's the link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/14 ... cket-light
