Kalemon the Monster Hunter

Today, while browsing the various comic book projects on Kickstarter, I came across one titled, "Kalemon the Monster Hunter."
The project image, itself, does nothing for me, which as it turns out, is from the front cover of the comic, itself.
So, what made me decide to back this project? The project video, that's what!
As soon as I watched it through to completion, I knew that I wanted to back this project. The project video for Kalemon the Monster Hunter is a sterling example of how Kickstarter creators can make their videos interesting to watch. The video retained my interest, for the complete duration of the video. Very nice job, Craig Knitt (the creator of this particular Kickstarter)!
I liked the personality that came through the video. Just a top notch job on Craig's part in explaining his project, and in a way that light-hearted and entertaining. Plus, did I mention Elvistein?

I didn't pledge enough to get me a copy of that Elvistein mini-comic, but I am thinking about it.
There's a certain monster that caught my eye, one which makes me want to know more about this monster.
Before I was done, I ended up checking out Craig Knitt's Facebook page, as well as another video that I came across while browsing his Facebook page. That video can be found here:

That video was somewhat boring, but I liked the ending of it.
The project page for this project has a lot of different elements that contain visual interest. Plus, Craig seems to grasp what many comic book creators on Kickstarter do not - that art made specifically for your Kickstarter page can help to sell page visitors on backing your project.
In a nutshell, the few minutes that I spent checking out Craig Knitt sold me on something in particular - his creativity.
So, I went ahead and backed the project. Be sure to drop by Craig Knitt's Kickstarter project page, and check it out for yourself. If nothing else, watch his project video, and see if you don't agree that it is a very well made video for a Kickstarter project.
