Working to turn my passion into my life by starting a gaming business (Bright Twin Games). It's been a long road with what seems like little progress but what steps I have made have been worth the trip. I've decided to give Kickstarter a shot and just launched my first campaign with three of the card games I have created!

Please check it out at, https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/16 ... nav_search

Any feed back is appreciated.

Okay, so a bit of feedback...
You're up against a lot of really tough competition...
A lot of the card games on Kickstarter are from experienced players from the industry and I think they get most of the attention in this genre - and most of the money. Just take a look at Exploding Kittens, who've broken all records on Kickstarter.

I think the graphics of your games needs to be improved if you hope to gain momentum on Kickstarter - Also, instead of focusing on getting backed as a company, I would probably start off trying to get backing for just one game... You would likely require less backing and you could get a fan base for a second game...

Anyway, that's just my 2 cents... Good luck!

Do you plan on going further than just card games in the future? I don't know if that's your niche, but speaking as a lifelong gamer, I've never really paid much attention to card games. I don't mean to be negative. I'm just assuming that making a card game is a bit easier to do to get your feet wet with coding and graphics and all. However, if that's your passion than more power to you. I know that there's plenty of an audience for card games.

I appreciate the interest and question, constructive criticism is always good. No, I would like to branch out into board games and eventually application and PC games. I am working with someone right now for future plans to turn one of the card games into an app.

Good luck! As an aspiring and struggling game developer myself I know the hardships that lie ahead of following your passion in gaming. Keep your head up and just keep creating.

Good luck on your campaign. I'm also a developer, and it can be tough to get things going. I would say that you need to hire an artist to create the art for your cards. i know that takes money, but there are those out there that will work with you on a limited budget.

Thank you for the advice. I did hire an artist through Guru to help design the images in my "Killed by Cuteness" game. I know how important images are and wanted to do it right.

I'm new to kickstarter, but I my recommendation would be to add more color to your page. Game graphics need to be eye catching and colorful. Also, maybe a video with some music. :)
