Was a staff pick, then wasn't, then got it back.

I was a Kickstarter staff pick early on. After a few days, my project no longer showed up when searching by staff picks. Narrowed down to my area and project type, only two staff picks were shown, but not mine. I emailed KS support a diplomatic message and they insisted staff picks were permanent. After I clarified that my project had not showed up for a couple of days, it was restored overnight. They never got back to me saying "sorry, we fixed the glitch." but I'm happy that the project is prominently displayed.
My
project topic tends to be controversial to some people, I don't know if that was a factor.
If you are a staff pick, you may want to keep checking, just in case.

Wow- that is an interesting story.
If it wasn't coming up when searched as a staff pick, did it still display the "Staff picked" logo? Glad to hear it all worked out.

@TSIGames, It never had a staff picked logo. Its still showing in a search by staff picks (#1 in popularity for photobooks, #2 for all photo projects) So I'm more than happy.

Update: My project is no longer showing up in staff picks. I'm not sure if this is the difference, but... I was getting $500+ per day in pledges. Today I only have $15.

I did get a response earlier from KS saying they "reset the staff pick setting and you should be all set now!" I emailed them back to report the occurrence of the problem today.
If you are a staff pick, I would definitely recommend checking, especially if pledge activity drops.
