Just became a Staff Pick!

Chocolate is Not Better than Sex just became a staff pick on Kickstarter! Wow! I'm really excited about it. I felt like I knew they would but I was worried when it was a whole week before they did it. lol. But now here I am, supported by Sal and all our wonderfully supportive friends here on Kickstarterforum.org and a staff pick and although we are way behind where we should be, it just gives me a new lease on my kickstarter life. :D

I think it has a lot to do with how much the project is being shared. I know it doesn't have to do with the total amount raised so far. So, I think it's because a lot of people just really want to see it made.

People have shared it in the Philippines and in Italy! So it's everywhere. I just need more dollars attached to those shares.

I've come close to buying some publicity but I'm reluctant to do so on a platform like Kicktraq because isn't it just for other Kickstarter projects? I know Softtempest said they had some success with it and maybe my procrastination is taking too long...but, still not certain I should gamble.

Please take a look at Chocolate is Not Better than Sex (below in my signature line) if you haven't yet. Your backing means a lot to me! :)

Congratulations! We were a staff pick with our last Kickstarter but this one is going a little slower than we thought. Just keep promoting!

I'm trying to promote like crazy. But I think my mind and my morale is playing tricks on me sometimes. How did you cope the first time around? I think I might lose my mind. ROFL!

Woot :) Congrats ~! :) I just joined your club as well today hehe. it does feel good like i did something in life i was picked :)

by the way @coolinvent your project looks so cool. i do have a question ' does the light heat up the drink or what ever is in it? and is this cordless? (that was two questions). i think you should add these questions into the Q&A as that's the first thing i think about when i see it. (i've seen your video now 2 times hehe).

@02geek to answer your questions:
Cordless battery powered LEDs. The LEDs do not heat up the liquid. LEDs are cool to the touch because they generally don't produce heat.

I'll add to Q&A. Please share with your friends. I just updated my Q&A. Hope this answers your questions.

Speaking of Q&A Dale and @o2Geek, is there anything you'd suggest I put in my q&a? Thanks!

That's wonderful. It's great to see the Kickstarter team factoring in other details BESIDES funding level to help spotlight cool projects like yours.

Have you found any similar projects, or projects with a similar demographic that you might cross-promo with?

I have done a lot of that. I found some which were nearing the end and I really liked their films, music and shows. So I decided to not only cross promote but to back them. Some will probably end up backing me, some may not, but in the end, I have seen about 5-6 projects make it so far with my help. That was cool. More are still active.
