Elegy for a Dead World is an upcoming indie game about writing fiction. In this game, you are controlling an astronaut as he or she walks across a screen depicting a beautiful alien landscape, inspired by the works of Byron, Keats and Shelley.

There are no items to find, enemies to fight or answers to find. As you walk, all you can do is stop and write.

The project was mentioned in the following reviews:
Eurogamer: The write stuff: Elegy for a Dead World preview
Rock Paper Shotgun: Shelley They Can’t Be Serious
Joystiq: Elegy for a Dead World turns players into poets
Mashable: 8 Breathtaking Indie Games Stealing Hearts at E3
BBC: E3: What video games to expect for the new-gen consoles
PC Gamer: The Best PC Games of 2014
New Scientist: Storytelling beats action in new games
El País: Jugar con versos en el planeta Byron
Gamespot: Stage Demo - E3 2014 (video)

When I saw that the project is not going to make it, I have advertised it on all writing forums I could find, and also on Reddit, on r/kickstarter and r/indiegames. My post on r/writing got deleted because it was against the rules (specifically, Rule 10: "Moderators may, in their discretion, remove posts that they consider harmful to the community.") and is pending rewriting, as per that moderator's suggestion.

I am working through the article 21 places to promote your kickstarter campaign, to see what of the mentioned places I can use for promoting my project.

Despite that, it looks like it might fall short of its funding goal. I have already promoted the project on the writing forums I could find and reddits r/writing, r/kickstarter and r/indiegames. I am not too familiar with reddit; I tried to ask a group of people to upvote it there and I'm not sure: did they not upvote it or did I just trigger some silent antispam filter or something? The posts don't appear on the front page.

Anyway, promotion on reddit and writing forums didn't bring a noticeable raise in donations that I hoped for. The project is still trending to fail reaching its funding goal. You say you are passionate about the crowdfunding industry and helping people reach their fundraising goals. Could you possibly advise me what else could I do to reverse the trend and bring success to such a project?

I am currently working through your article 21 places to promote your kickstarter campaign to see what can I do. Anything else that you can advise?

It looks like this project needs a boost in order to reach its funding goal, so any help and advice is appreciated.
