Another slow down in place.

I'm 30% into my campaign. I have advertise my campaign on both Facebook and twitter, but I'm not getting anywhere. In fact my advertisement plan said that no one clicked on my ads in America at all. Kind of saw the slow down last week, but it seems I hit a wall with this one.

I am in the same boat. I just launched my Kickstarter last week. We have 30 days to go, but still struggling to get over $1000. I feel like I am making no progress, but it is still early. I have written many journalists that have similar interests as my project. I haven't really seen any benefit from that yet. I hope that changes.

Good luck,

Warren

It seems to me that you are in a good position to reach your goal, it's normal for there to be a stall. Just keep on reaching out to people there is definitely enough time to get the funds that you want.

Facebook was a waste for me. I paid $5.00 just to test their boost post and I reached 2,300 people but had a total of 12 actions on it.

I guess there is no way to really advertise then?

I think the best way is to advertise yourself. I tagged Kickstarter's Facebook page in every post I shared and they finally shared my project. I got a couple of backers, but a good bit of traffic on my page. People are watching I think, but they are procrastinating. In a few days I'm going to offer some deals through sharing posts and see if that ups the backers. You can also check out "Thunderclap". It's a giant social media shout out.

What's the link to Thunderclap

https://www.thunderclap.it/

It's similar to Kickstarter, just without money our rewards. You basically have to raise your pledged amount of supporters to get the shout out. The only problem I see is trying to raise awareness for the Kickstarter and the Thunderclap. Maybe some how combine them?
